Tyco 721H Conventional UL Heat Detector #html-body [data-pb-style=L3NEC7C]{justify-content:flex-start;display:flex;flex-direction:column;background-position:left top;background-size:cover;background-repeat:no-repeat;background-attachment:scroll}Tyco 721H Conventional UL Heat Detector – 516.900.203 This heat sensor operates at a 134.6°F fixed temperature and 20°F rate-of-rise. The detectors support the ability to compensate for the effects of contamination due to dust and dirt. This prevents an increase of false alarms andextends the operational life of the detector. Threshold compensation applies only to detectors with smoke (photo) sensors. Self-Monitoring Self-Monitoring refers to the characteristics or design features of the detector that enable it to detect problems. The features of each detector type areas follows: For the heat (temperature) sensor a normal output level around ambient temperature is expected. For the optical (smoke) sensors the optical chamber is periodically stimulated.
