Letter Guard Fire Protected Letter Box The Firechief LGD1 is the Letter Guard Fire Protected Letter Box.  It is designed specifically to guard against arson attacks on letter boxes.  It features an integral fire extinguisher, which is designed to discharge when the temperature of the enclosure goes above 57 degrees celcius. It’s constructed from a fully welded mild steel with a powder coated finish, and is easy to install over a British Standard letter box. Integral 100g FE36 automatic fire extinguisher, with discharge temperature of 57 degrees celcius. Refill extinguishers available.
