C-Tec Activ C4414 Multi-Sensor Detector – Conventional Combined Optical Smoke & Heat Sensor The C-Tec C4414 Multi-Sensor is a combined smoke and heat detection from the C-Tec Activ range of conventional fire alarm system detectors.  This sensor is certified to EN54 parts 5 and 7, and is an ideal device to help prevent false alarms. The C-Tec C4414 incorporates both a smoke and a heat sensor which, as well as operating independently, combine to produce a sensitive response to freely burning fires.  For example when a rise in heat is detected, the level at which the detector responds to smoke is reduced.  This smoke and heat analysis makes this sensor an ideal device  for detecting a wide range of fires in HMOs, etc, whilst also reducing false alarms.
