C-Tec Activ C4403B Fixed Temperature Type B High Heat Detector – Conventional – 75 Degrees Celcius The C-Tec C4403B Heat Detector is from the C-Tec Activ conventional detection range.  This detector is EN54 certified and ideal for use on conventional fire alarm systems. The C-Tec C4403B is an type B fixed temperature high heat detector.  It uses a thermal element to measure the ambient temperature within a room..  This sensor is rated at 75 degrees celcius and will activate when the ambient room temperature reaches this level. This detector is ideal for use in areas with an extremely high normal ambient temperature where standard fixed temperature heat detectors or rate of rise heat detectors would false alarm.
